A felt disc for an angle grinder (USHM) is a thick felt attachment on a platform with an M14 threaded mount.
Designed for final polishing and finishing of surfaces. It is used in a variety of applications, from metalworking to woodworking and automotive repair.

Purpose and Application
Felt discs are used for:
Polishing metals – stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, chrome, bronze.
Finishing – adding shine after sanding.
Polishing paintwork, plastic, acrylic, and glass.
Works with pastes (e.g., GOI, Dialux, Menzerna) for a mirror-like shine.
Used:
in auto repair shops (for polishing bodywork, headlights, and wheels);
in jewelry manufacturing;

in furniture manufacturing (polishing wood and varnished surfaces).
Work at low speeds (1500–3000 rpm).
Use polishing pastes for best results.
Do not use for rough work—the felt quickly becomes clogged and loses its properties.

Soft (M) – for fine, delicate polishing with pastes
Used in the finishing stages, when working with varnish, plastic, and non-ferrous metals.
Hard (H) – for preliminary polishing and removing minor defects.
Used before soft wheels.
